Between light and darkness

My forms speak of eyes and tears, tunnels and aids, loss and resilience. Each sculpture carries a quiet story, shaped by absence as much as by presence.

Becoming blind by retinitis pigmentosa (RP), I sculpt in clay by touch. RP causes extreme tunnelvision with dim and blurry central sight therefore I experience the world in fragments. The objects below are fragments of a larger, unseen whole. Click to see the total piece.
